If you’ve read the Fallen Crest series by Tijan then you are familiar with Heather and Channing. Throughout the Fallen Crest series I hoped that we would get more of a glimpse into the on-again off-again relationship between Heather and Channing, and holy crap did Tijan deliver. Right from the beginning I couldn’t put this book down. There is so much emotion in this book, laughter, tears, you name the emotion, and I felt it while reading this book. Tijan has a way of creating these couples, that while you know they probably aren’t good for each other, you know that they belong together. There is no other person for them than them.
Heather and Channing have been on and off for as long as they can remember. They love each other, that has never and will never change. The problem that they face is that the lifestyle Channing lives, isn’t the life that Heather wants to live. Crew will always come before Heather, but as things start to change in the little town of Roussou, can Channing not only keep Heather safe, but the town? Will he have to choose between his crew and Heather? Trust me when I say this is a book that you don’t want to miss!
