Legend: An Arizona Vengeance Novel by Sawyer Bennett – Review

I have read all of Sawyer’s Carolina Cold Fury books, and I was unsure how I would feel moving away from them to the Arizona Vengeance. Now, having read the third book in the series, I can say with utmost certainty that I have no idea what I was worried about. No matter what Sawyer is writing about, she captures you from the very beginning and makes it hard to put her books down. Legend’s story was no exception to this rule. From start to finish this book kept me on the edge of my seat, and had a little thrill to it, when it came to the interaction and actions of certain characters. The chemistry between Pepper and Legend is off the charts. I also appreciate that we still get to interact with the characters from previous books, which always makes any series more enjoyable in my eyes.

Legend Bay is the starting goalie for the Arizona Vengeance, and his neighbor, Pepper Nantais is his quirky neighbor. To say that the two are on opposite ends of the personality spectrum is putting it lightly. Legend is a rules kind of guy, and by the book. Pepper is a free spirit who isn’t afraid to shake things up. Since Legend moved in next door, the two have had quite the showdown. But when a surprise Christmas ‘present’ knocks Legend quite literally on his butt, it’s Pepper who is there to help him through. As the two try and navigate their way through this surprise, they realize perhaps opposites do really attract.

I promise you won’t be disappointed by this book, and I also feel the need to say that the need I have for Tacker’s book to come is seriously overwhelming and my heart fully breaks for that man!
