Text Me Baby One More Time by Teagan Hunter – Review

The finale in the texting series was more than I could have hoped for! This book had every aspect that you hope for in a romantic comedy. I laughed so hard at some parts that I had tears in my eyes. There weren’t just happy parts though, there were parts that broke my heart as well. All of these things combined made one of the best books I’ve read all year (and I know it’s only February, but I’ve read quite a few already). I don’t think that I could have asked for anything more when it came to the finale. I’m grateful that we got to revisit most all the characters from the texting series one more time, and I feel like this series was wrapped up with a perfect bow leaving no question unanswered. I also have to throw in this review, that I see you Teagan…I see the nods to ‘One Tree Hill’ 😉

Denver and Shepherd were going to be together. She moved across the country to be with him, but that doesn’t end up happening. Denver is now working at a paper in her hometown, and Shep made it to the big leagues. When he gets into some hot water, he comes home and the two run into each other. They say love and hate are two sides of the same coin, but after that first meeting is seems there is more hate from Denver than love. When the two strike up a deal to help each other out, there is no telling what will happen. As the two spend more time together, they realize they have white hot chemistry that is hard to ignore. The questions remain though – can Denver forgive Shep for breaking her heart all those years ago and can Shepard redeem himself not just for Denver but for the other people he has hurt? This is a book that you won’t be able to put down!!
