That Second Chance by Meghan Quinn – Review

Griffin is home town through and through. Port Snow is his home, and he loves that town. After one drunken night in New Orleans his life changes. Enter Ren, who is the town’s new quirky Algebra teacher. When Griffin rescues Ren the two hit it off. However after Griffin’s past he is very hesitant to let himself love or be loved again. As the two get to know each other and Griffin shows Ren what Port Snow has to offer all bets are off. Their chemistry is hard to ignore, but when a reminder of what is looming over Griffin hits him he will do everything to stay away from Ren if it means keeping her safe. The question is, can Griffin move forward from his past in order to find love again?

Meghan Quinn never disappoints. Every one of her books is one that I have to get right on release day, and I can’t put it down until I have devoured it. The way that she writes and the descriptions she uses make you feel like a part of the book. I also love that she leads you into the next book (if there is going to be one) so seamlessly and it has left me begging for the next book in this series!
