What Do You See? By K. Dosal McLendon – REVIEW –

Claire takes life one day at a time. A year ago she was just your average college girl, your average girl. When an unforeseen accident takes something from her, she has to learn to not take life for granted and to appreciate everything and everyone around you, because it can all be taken away in the blink of an eye. Jake is a hot shot goalie for their college soccer team. He plays soccer with Claire’s brothers. When the two meet, the connection is instant, but with everything Claire is dealing with, she doesn’t want to let someone all the way in. The thing about athletes though, they don’t give up, and Jake wants Claire and he is determined to make her his. As the two navigate through their new relationship and the obstacles that are thrown their way, they have to stop and remember to not take one thing for granted, but the question remains, can Jake help Claire when she needs him most?

‘What Do You See?’ is a book that takes you on a journey like you’ve never been before. From start to finish this book captivated me, I finished it in on sitting because I couldn’t put it down. This book was so beautifully written, it was heart wrenching and raw but also beautiful and heartwarming. This book touched my heart in a way that not many have been able to do before. This is K.
