Holding On To Forever by Siobhan Davis & S.B. Alexander – REVIEW –

REVIEW

Adam Miller isn’t your typical college athlete. Sure he’s the starting quarterback and he is darn good at what he does, but he’s also a family guy. He would go to the ends of the earth for his mom and sister. When he finds out that his mom lost her job and the health insurance that went along with it, he revisits a part of his past he would have liked to have left behind to help make cash to help his family out. He starts dealing drugs. It’s a quick way to make the cash he needs to help out, nothing more. Until the day he meets Emily Parker.

Emily has been using drugs as a way to escape her reality. Her family has to keep up appearances, so her drug use has to be on the down low. When she meets her new drug dealer, Adam, she never expected him to be more. Keeping both of their secrets safe is the end game, but when lines become blurred it’s hard to deny that they are attracted to each other. Will their secrets be safe? Or will everything come to a boiling point that could change their lives forever?

‘Holding On To Forever’ is an absolutely phenomenal book. From start to finish the entire story is heart wrenching and amazing. This book touches on some very difficult topics and the author’s handle these topics with delicacy but also without sugar coating either. I was not expecting this book, to say that this book is a journey is an understatement. Just when I thought I had something figured out, I was thrown for another loop! You will be drawn in from the start, and I promise if you think you have it all figured out, you are wrong, but in the best way possible!
