Rex Gunderson used to fit the douche title to a T, but he’s changed since he left campus. He isn’t necessarily boyfriend material to Hannah, who is trying to navigate the crazy world of dating. When Rex and Hannah ‘meet’ each other on the campus dating app, he offers to be her teacher in the dating world. Neither expected to fall in like with the other, but crazier things have happened.
This was a great short, and I love that we got a little more of Rex. He wasn’t really my favorite character in previous books, but I couldn’t help but root for him to get his happily ever after either. I think he and Hannah are the perfect balance for each other, and Sara Ney has written another rom-com winner. She has a way of writing that has you rooting for the guy you never thought you would. Absolutely loved this story, and I was glad to see the ‘new and improved’ Rex Gunderson!
