Absolutely loved Trace in the first book and love him even more now! I was so stoked to see that he was getting his own book because I knew he had layers. He’s hilarious and witty, and he has a heart of gold. He’s a family man and seems like a bit of a momma’s boy. The back and forth between him and his brother Tripp is laugh out loud funny, as well as his banter with Hollis.
As for Hollis, she’s the girl we want to be. Fiercely independent, smart, and full of sass! She gives and good as she gets, and her banter with Trace is gold. She grew up differently than Trace and I love watching her navigate his family, as well as her own. Her standing her ground with her dad…AMAZING!
Sara Ney is an author that I can guarantee will have me laughing out loud, and this book was no exception. There were also some really tender and sweet moments that had me swooning. Trace is a big teddy bear and not many people get to see that side of him. I felt like we got a glimpse of his caring soul in Noah’s book, but it’s out full force in this one! This book is a fun and quick read and a great addition to the series!
