Amy Daws, why can’t this world you’ve created be real?! I didn’t think I would ever love a story as much as I loved Mac and Freya’s but you managed to change that with Tilly and Santino.
I don’t know that I have the right words to adequately describe this book and how much I loved it. From the very first page I was drawn into this story, and I refused to put it down until I was done. I had to know more about Tilly and Santino. They are both such complex characters, who deserve all the love in the world, even though they don’t believe that about themselves. The amount of character growth in this story was just fantastic. This is a story of second chances and showing that change and growth is possible.
I truly don’t know how Amy does it!! She writes some of the most hilarious stories I’ve ever read, but manages to draw out so many other emotions as well. This book has some hard moments, that brought tears to my eyes, but she handles them in such a graceful and beautiful way. She doesn’t shy away from it, but manages to give us some light as well. There were also moments that had me laughing out loud. The balance between the light and heavy was perfect!
Also, throw in the fact that we get to revisit with the Harris fam and we got more of Mac and Freya just further added to how utterly fantastic this story was! I think this may very well be my favorite book from Amy Daws!

Knowing this gift can’t be all hearts and flowers, I glance into the bag again and dig beneath several layers of tissue paper before I find a small box and an envelope. I open it up to see a note from Santino:
You say you like a challenge…put these on and see how challenging this match gets when I have all the control.
Frowning, I open up the box, and my eyes widen when I see what’s inside.
It’s the knickers I stuffed into his suit pocket the other day, but there’s something attached to the centre strip of fabric.
“It can’t be,” I whisper as I look down at the wee black device shaped like a very slim keyboard mouse. On the back, I spot a charging port and a simple on/off switch.
He’s given me fucking vibrating knickers. What a cunt.
Cringing, I slide the switch to on, and a soft buzz alights in my hand, confirming my original assessment. Liquid heat instantly pools in my belly as I imagine Santino using this on me. I mean, I don’t hate that idea. The thought of him pushing in this door right now and assaulting my sex with this wee thing is enough to have my entire body quivering with anticipation.
But giving it to me with my knickers doesn’t sound like that’s what he wants me to do right now. “He can’t be serious.”
As if on cue, my mobile pings inside my pocket, and I pull it out to see a text from Santino.
Santino: Yes, I gave you vibrating knickers, and yes, I have complete control over them through an app on my mobile. Leave the switch to on.
Tilly: You can’t expect me to put these on now.
Santino: Oh, I absolutely do, Tilly. Unless of course, you’d rather I have a nice talk with Mac about my feelings for you? I think I’ve warmed him up nicely with the bag of old kits.
Tilly: You are such an eejit.
Santino: So, is that a yes to wearing them? I’ve been hard all day thinking about having your pleasure at the tips of my fingers. I have very nimble fingers if you recall.
I swallow nervously as an erotic thrill pulses in my veins. This is the Santino I was attracted to five years ago. Domineering, demanding, and discreetly kinky. Inhaling sharply, I type back my reply.
Tilly: I’ll wear them with pride, Sonny.
