I flipping love these hockey guys so freaking much! Eli Hornsby is the absolute SWEETEST guy ever. And Penny, oh my land I love her. Seriously, hardcore girl crush on a fictional character. She is quirky and sassy and when she rambles when she’s nervous, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder. These two are the perfect match!
Like I said above, Eli is the absolute sweetest and he doesn’t give himself enough credit to how wonderful and attentive he is. He’s there for Penny no matter what and that’s amazing. And the guys, seriously these hockey guys are truly a family, they care so much about each other (even though Pacey could have killed him for knocking up his sister).
Posey was a true gem in Eli’s time of need, and Taters response when he found out that Eli knocked up Pacey’s sister was pure gold. Laugh out loud hilarious to me! I also have to say, Pacey… my dear sweet Pacey was a bit of a jack off in this book. But he was being a protective older brother so I’ll let him slide, and he made up for it!
But it was so nice to catch up with everybody in this story, and I can’t wait to watch the rest of these guys get their own happily ever after!!
