I think this may very well be my favorite Meghan Quinn book! It’s full of everything I’ve come to know and love from her but, in an amplified way!
I laughed, I cried, I cringed and every single thing in between while reading this book. Hattie and Hayes are the perfect complement to each other. I freaking LOVE Hattie, she’s hilarious and doesn’t back down when Hayes gives her attitude. She gives it right back, and their banter is hysterical.
And Hayes, oh my land, sweet Hayes, he is the perfect picture of a tortured artist. His life hasn’t been easy and seeing him be brought to his knees by Hattie was perfection.
I devoured their story. I simply couldn’t and wouldn’t put this book down. I also was dying at some of the easter eggs from other books in this one! And I’m crossing my fingers we get more books from Almond Bay!
