Sarah Bowen is living a life she never thought she would. She’s the makeup artist for one of the hottest bands in country music, she runs a lifestyle boutique with two of her best friends. Lex Ryan is the epitome of player. He’s a different woman every night kind of guy and he’s not ashamed to admit it. He’s not going to settle down, and even though he’s been attracted to Sarah from the first time they met, he’s vowed he won’t pursue it. She deserves a nice guy and he’s not that guy. When the band heads off on their European tour and they stay in Ireland, Lex’s past gets pulled to the forefront, can he move past what happened to him? Or will Sarah’s efforts be in vain?
I have been impatiently waiting for Lex and Sarah’s story ever since Coffee Girl. Sophie Sinclair did not disappoint with their book. From the very first page I was drawn in and I didn’t want to put this book down. Lex was such a mystery in the first book so I couldn’t wait to see what all that mystery was about. Absolutely loved this book. The friendship between all of the characters was amazing and their banter was hilarious. They are all there for each other no matter what and that’s hard to find sometimes. Also, the chemistry between Sarah and Lex, white hot, it was almost palpable. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen between these two. Sophie drew me into the story, I felt like I could feel the emotions and envision what was happening. She painted such an amazing picture with her words and created such a beautiful story. I loved Kiki and Tatum, but damn do I love Lex and Sarah even more.
